We are seeking a professional, organized, and personable Club Secretary to support the operations of our private Members Club. This role is central to maintaining smooth communication, coordinating events, and ensuring our Members enjoy a seamless and welcoming experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level administrative support to the Club’s management team, including scheduling meetings and managing correspondence.
- Maintain accurate records, Membership databases, and confidential documents.
- To be responsible for implementing the Club’s Health and Safety policy as directed by the Chair of the Committee.
- Assist in planning and coordinating Club events, meetings, and special initiatives.
- Be the bridge between Club leadership, and external organisations to be the first point of contact for bookings, general Club and Membership enquiries.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Members, ensuring inquiries are handled promptly and professionally.
- Facilitate internal communications to enhance Member engagement and satisfaction.
- Ideal Candidate:
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Computer literate with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Outlook
- Discreet, professional, and attentive to detail.
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to thrive in a Member-focused environment.
- Experience in administrative roles, preferably within hospitality, Clubs, or private organizations.Experience running a web-site and using social media to promote the Club and it’s activities.
Pay: From £16.00 per hour
