SureCare Central London is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Paediatric Nurse to work within a specialist educational setting supporting children and young people with a range of additional needs and complex health conditions.

The successful candidate will support pupils with healthcare needs, contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, monitor medication and health interventions, and work closely with school staff, families and healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to children and young people.
- Develop, implement and review individual healthcare plans.
- Support pupils with complex medical needs.
- Administer and monitor medications in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Monitor pupils' health needs and take appropriate action when required.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.
- Provide clinical advice and guidance to school staff and families.
- Liaise with external healthcare professionals and multidisciplinary teams.
- Assist with training and competency assessments where appropriate.
- Promote safeguarding, health and wellbeing at all times.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and case reviews.
Essential Requirements
- Registered Children's Nurse (RN Child) or Learning Disability Nurse.
- Current NMC Registration.
- Minimum 2 years' post-registration paediatric experience.
- Experience supporting children and young people with healthcare needs.
- Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Right to work in the UK.
Desirable
- Experience working within a school or educational setting.
- Experience supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities.
- PEG feeding experience.
- Epilepsy management experience.
- Tracheostomy care experience.
- Experience writing healthcare plans and risk assessments.
- Experience delivering training to staff.

Working Hours
Monday to Thursday: 9:00am - 3:30pm
Friday: 9:00am - 1:00pm
