Building Surveyor
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Building Surveyor to join a respected multi-disciplinary consultancy delivering projects across the housing, education, transport and public sectors.
This role offers the chance to work on a varied portfolio of professional and project-led Building Surveying instructions while developing your career within an established and supportive team.
The Role
- Conducting condition, dilapidation and access surveys
- Acting as Contract Administrator on refurbishment and maintenance projects
- Producing specifications, reports and technical advice
- Assisting with building pathology investigations
- Supporting party wall and dilapidations instructions
- Managing client relationships and project delivery
- Monitoring project budgets and financial performance
- Identifying new project opportunities
About You
- Degree in Building Surveying, Construction Management or similar discipline
- Around 1-3 years' post-graduate experience within Building Surveying
- Strong technical knowledge and report-writing ability
- Good understanding of contract administration and project delivery
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Desire to progress towards Chartered status (MRICS)
