At Hays, I work with a wide variety of schools across the Warrington area to provide them with short and long-term supply teaching cover on both a day-to-day and pre-planned basis.
Your new role
Working as a supply teacher, you can be asked to cover full days, mornings or afternoons, from one day to full weeks, all dependent on your availability. We get regular bookings from nursery classes to Year 6, and you will be offered days work within any age range you specify. Whether you are a new ECT at the start of your career, or an experienced teacher looking for occasional days to fit around current commitments, we can help.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for supply teaching, you will need to:

Hold qualified teacher status

Have recent and relevant experience working within primary schools that we can reference

Be an approachable and patient primary teacher who is able to embrace new surroundings and situations.

Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to quickly build effective relationships with students, parents and colleagues
Interest is welcomed from ECT's and experienced teachers alike.
