About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and professional Van Driver to join our 2-man specialist delivery team.
Working as part of a two-person crew, you will be responsible for delivering specialist goods to customers safely, efficiently and professionally. The role involves driving a company van, handling goods carefully and using a handheld scanner/delivery device to manage deliveries and update delivery information.
Key Responsibilities
Driving a company van safely and responsibly
Completing deliveries as part of a 2-man team
Loading and unloading goods safely
Carrying goods into customers' homes or premises where required
Using a handheld scanner to scan items and complete delivery information
Following delivery schedules and using the scanner to update delivery status
Providing excellent customer service
Completing delivery paperwork and following company procedures
Ensuring goods are handled carefully and securely
Keeping the vehicle clean and in good condition
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
A confident and responsible driver
Comfortable using a handheld scanner or electronic delivery device
Friendly and professional with customers
Physically fit, as the role involves lifting and moving goods
Comfortable working as part of a 2-man delivery team
Well presented and customer focused
Flexible and willing to go the extra mile
Previous delivery or removals experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided for the right candidate.
