Sport In The Community 2020 CIC delivers our Strong Minds, Strong Bodies™ Wellbeing Club,
providing fun, inclusive and engaging physical activity and wellbeing sessions within care homes and
community settings across Hampshire.
Our mission is to improve both physical and mental wellbeing through movement, connection and
positivity.
The Role
We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable and passionate individuals to deliver group based physical
activity and wellbeing sessions to a variety of participants, including older adults and community
groups over HAMPSHIRE
This is a highly rewarding role, ideal for fitness professionals who enjoy working with people and
want to make a genuine difference in their local community.
Key Responsibilities
· Deliver fun, safe and engaging group exercise and wellbeing sessions
· Adapt sessions to suit different abilities and needs
· Create a positive, inclusive and supportive environment
· Travel to various care homes and community venues across Hampshire
· Represent the organisation in a professional and friendly manner
Requirements
· Level 3 Personal Trainer or Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification
· Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle (essential)
· Good communication and interpersonal skills
· Reliable, punctual and self motivated
Desirable (but not essential)
· Experience delivering group sessions
· Background in sports coaching or working with children
· Experience working with older adults or in community settings
