Overview
We are seeking a skilled Stone Worktop Fitter to join our team, specialising in the installation and finishing of stone worktops for residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction-related trades, with experience in fabricating and fitting stone surfaces. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilising a range of hand and power tools, within a professional environment committed to quality craftsmanship. Duties
- Install worktops securely, ensuring proper alignment and finish for a seamless appearance
- Use hand tools such as grinder, polishing machine
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, levelling, and applying adhesives or sealants as required
- Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters, masons, or electricians to ensure smooth project progression
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
- Contribute to the overall quality control process by inspecting finished work for defects or inconsistencies
Experience
- Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools specific to fabrication and installation tasks
- Experience reading schematics or technical drawings relevant to stone fitting or related trades
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and best practices for working with heavy materials and equipment
- Previous involvement in fabrication processes involving stone or similar materials will be considered an asset

Pay: £42,420.00-£53,072.74 per year
