We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cover Cleaner to join our cleaning team. A cover cleaner will cover staff sicknesses or annual leaves , as and when required , working Wednesday 17.00pm to 19.00pm and Friday 17.00pm to 19.00pm to cover shifts when required only .
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, windows, restrooms, and common spaces, following established procedures.
- Use commercial cleaning equipment and supplies safely and effectively to achieve optimal results.
- Maintain cleanliness standards by regularly inspecting assigned spaces and addressing any issues promptly.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and other consumables to ensure continuous availability.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Report any maintenance needs or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
- Support team members during busy periods or special cleaning projects as needed.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles, demonstrating reliability and attention to detail.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the shift.
- Good communication skills for effective coordination with team members and supervisors.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that require standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment for extended periods.
