Site Cleaning Supervisor
Reporting To: Key Account Manager
Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour
Hours: Part-Time (15 – 20 hours per week)
Shift Pattern: 5 days out of 7 (Monday to Sunday, rotational)
Shift Times: Mix of Early Mornings (6:30am – 9:30am) & Evenings (7:00pm – 10:00pm)
Ryak Cleaning & Support Services is seeking a dependable and organised Site Cleaning Supervisor to oversee daily cleaning operations at a key facility on West Bank Road, Belfast.
Working closely with the Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining exceptional cleaning standards, managing shift rotas, and leading an on-site team. This is a active, hands-on position where you will work directly alongside your team on the floor while ensuring full operational compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily site operations, conducting regular quality checks to ensure all areas are cleaned to the required specification within shift timeframes.
- Actively participate in daily cleaning duties alongside the team to maintain high standards and operational efficiency.
- Organise weekly shift schedules and manage immediate cover for planned and unplanned staff absences.
- Assist with the induction, site orientation, and practical training of new cleaning staff, ensuring adherence to COSHH and Health & Safety guidelines.
- As required, utilise a company vehicle to assist with local staff transport to and from site prior to or following shifts.
- Maintain regular communication with the Key Account Manager regarding staffing, site performance, and stock inventory.
- Approachable leadership style with a proven ability to motivate and support the team.
Essential Criteria:
- Proven track record in commercial cleaning combined with supervisory or team leadership experience (2 years minimum)
- Full UK/NI Driver’s Licence (required for potential company vehicle operation).
- Organised, approachable, and confident in managing team dynamics and shift coverage.
- Self-motivated with a strong, hands-on work ethic.
- Available to work a rotational pattern covering early mornings, late evenings, and weekends as required.
