We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Café / Coffee Manager to oversee daily operations within a busy hospitality environment. Duties
- Manage the day-to-day running of the café, ensuring smooth operations during shifts
- Supervise and motivate staff, including baristas, servers, and kitchen personnel
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Organise staff rotas, training sessions, and performance evaluations
- Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally
- Maintain stock levels, order supplies, and manage inventory efficiently
- Implement promotional activities to increase customer engagement and sales
- Monitor financial transactions and ensure accurate cash handling procedures
- Foster a positive team environment focused on hospitality excellence
Skills
- Proven experience in supervising or managing restaurant or café teams
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel environments is advantageous
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- Knowledge of food production processes and kitchen operations
- Barista experience is highly desirable
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Outstanding communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence
- Ability to lead by example while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanour
