Job Overview
At Stokes Sauces, we make sauces for food lovers. We believe great food deserves great sauce, and everything we do is about taste without compromise.
Food is social – it gets people talking, sharing and discovering. We are looking for a creative, commercially minded Digital Content & Social Media Manager who knows how to turn great ideas into content that captures attention and connects consumers with Stokes.
This is a hands-on role where you will have the freedom to bring ideas to the table, experiment with content and help shape how people discover and experience the Stokes brand online.
THE ROLE
Social media will be at the heart of your role. You will take ownership of our day-to-day digital presence, creating engaging and distinctive content that builds awareness of Stokes, connects with food lovers and supports the wider commercial goals of the business.
Working closely with our Head of Marketing and wider team, you will help shape and deliver our social and digital activity across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Planning and managing our social content calendar around campaigns, seasonal activity, product launches and key brand moments.
- Producing Reels, short-form video and other social-first content in-house, from initial idea through to filming, editing and publishing.
- Organising and overseeing professional photography and video shoots, helping develop concepts and ensuring we capture the content we need.
- Working with our in-house chef to bring recipes and food inspiration to life through engaging content for our website, newsletter and social channels.
- Owning the Stokes Sauces newsletter, planning and creating engaging content that builds brand engagement and drives traffic to our website.
- Identifying and organising collaborations with relevant brands, creators, partners and organisations to extend our reach and introduce Stokes to new audiences.
- Amplifying PR and media coverage, turning great publicity into digital and social content that maximises its reach and impact.
- Championing the Stokes Sauces brand, ensuring our tone of voice, personality and visual identity are represented consistently across all digital activity.
- Monitoring, analysing and reporting on digital and social performance, understanding what is working and using those insights to continually improve content and results.
- Creating content that drives traffic to the Stokes Sauces e-commerce site, helping turn engagement into website visits and ultimately sales.
ABOUT YOU
First and foremost, you’ll genuinely love digital and social media.
You will have experience creating and managing social content for a consumer-facing business or brand and be able to show us examples of content you have created, together with the impact it has had.
YOU WILL ALSO:
- Understand the different social platforms, their audiences and what makes people engage with content on each.
- Be confident creating short-form video, including filming and editing.
- Have a strong eye for photography, video and visual content.
- Be a strong copywriter who can adapt tone and style for different channels and audiences.
- Understand social and digital analytics and be able to turn performance data into useful actions.
- Be organised, proactive and full of ideas, with the confidence to take ownership and make things happen.
- Be commercially minded and understand that great digital content isn't just about likes and views – it should help grow the brand and the business.
Experience within food or FMCG would be an advantage, but creativity, digital instinct and the ability to engage an audience are just as important to us.
