Regular travel, early starts and stays away from home are essential.

* A full UK driving licence.
* At least two years’ recent construction-site experience.
* Previous experience supervising operatives or leading a site gang.
* Experience briefing teams on RAMS and safe systems of work.
* A good understanding of construction Health & Safety requirements.
* The confidence to challenge unsafe behaviour and stop work where necessary.
* Good communication, organisation and record-keeping skills.
* A reliable, professional and practical approach.
* The ability and willingness to work away from home regularly.

* Concrete, concrete pumping, civils, groundworks, utilities, highways or specialist plant.
* First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid at Work.
* CPCS, NPORS or Temporary Works Supervisor training.
* Completing permits, inspections, quality checks and site reports.
* Managing plant, materials, deliveries and site logistics.
* Working on infrastructure, rail, highways, airport, MOD, restricted-access or security-sensitive sites.
