We're looking for an experienced Senior Practitioner – Detox & Rehabilitation Lead to join our Camden service.

Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week

Salary: Inner London Weighting will apply to this role.
Please note: Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and any associated payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.
This is more than a specialist recovery role.
You'll become the clinical and operational lead for our Tier 4 detoxification and residential rehabilitation pathway, helping ensure every person receives the right support before, during and after treatment.
Working closely with the Deputy Service Manager and multidisciplinary colleagues, you'll coordinate detoxification and rehabilitation pathways, deliver specialist clinics and group programmes, and work alongside residential providers to create seamless transitions into treatment.
You'll also play a key role in developing colleagues, sharing your expertise and embedding best practice across the service, ensuring people receive consistent, high-quality support throughout one of the most important stages of their recovery.
Responsibilities:
You'll:

Lead and coordinate Camden's detoxification and residential rehabilitation pathway.

Support people preparing for community, inpatient and residential detoxification and rehabilitation.

Deliver specialist one-to-one and group interventions that promote recovery and sustained engagement.

Work closely with residential providers, hospitals and partner agencies to coordinate care.

Support staff development through coaching, guidance and clinical leadership.

Monitor outcomes, review care plans and help drive continuous improvement across the service.

Promote evidence-based practice, safeguarding and person-centred care throughout the pathway.

You'll combine strong clinical knowledge with compassion, professionalism and the ability to build trusted relationships with both people using our services and colleagues.
You'll bring:

Experience working within drug and alcohol services or a related health and social care setting.

A strong understanding of community detoxification and residential rehabilitation pathways.

Knowledge of clinical prescribing and substitute prescribing programmes.

Experience delivering evidence-based psychosocial interventions in both one-to-one and group settings.

Excellent partnership working and communication skills.
