Hilton Nursing Partners are seeking an experienced trainer to deliver and develop training at our dedicated facility located at our head office in Marden Kent and within the Southeast region, supporting staff in the community. HNP are an employee-owned trust specialising in hospital discharge and providing care in the home. The role will involve provision and maintenance of mandatory training, induction and other projects necessary the facilitate the growth of the organisation and staff development. HNP values staff development and upskilling, trainers are required to support learning within a variety of platforms including internal assessment and award of the level 2 Adult Social Care Certificate and external courses. The successful candidate will be expected to develop and design training sessions and support the development of training frameworks to meet the organisations strategic objectives. You will have full ownership over presentations and delivery of training and facilitate group and one to one sessions to support learning activities. You will also be responsible for ongoing review and evaluation of training sessions and materials to ensure effective and up to date practice.
You will be required to travel to provide training to our remote workers across Kent, Sussex and potentially other areas. Please also note there will be a period of shadowing and practice with our community Personal Nursing Assistants of approximately 4 weeks at the start of employment. This is to ensure a full understanding of the services offered at Hilton.
The ideal candidate will hold a teaching qualification and have previous experience of training and a good understanding of healthcare in the community. Excellent communication skills are key to ensure strong relationships are built with staff and partnerships outside of Hilton Nursing Partners. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a dynamic, flexible and innovative approach to the delivery of training.

Our Hilton Regional Trainer will deliver high quality training sessions using a range of resources and teaching styles, maintaining a programme of training including mandatory refresher sessions, induction, bespoke learning and Care Certificate completion. In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for the development and administration of the training department and training compliance.
Trainers at HNP facilitate group and one to one sessions and support learning activities at our dedicated training facility at our head office Marden and in the community, supporting staff to achieve a high standard of competency in their role. Trainers are expected to regularly update, review and evaluate training sessions to ensure practice remains up to date and support staff development.
The Regional Trainer role will be based at the Hilton Head Office in Marden but is also required to travel regularly to various locations in the community to support competency and development of staff in their workplace. Please note there will be a period of shadowing and practice required in the community, which requires supporting patients and clients in their own homes, to ensure a full understanding of HNP services and ethos. The role will also include support with general administration and office tasks, such a call handling, when necessary.

Main Responsibilities
· Implementation and execution of the 12-month L&D strategy incorporating and promoting the values of HNP and health and social care in all interactions with learners.
· Develop and design new training programmes to reflect the changing needs of the organisation and staff.
· Review and update of current training programmes to ensure they are line with best practice and regulatory compliance.
· Arrange and complete individual and group training sessions as required in different locations, including one to one field observations in all services.
· Maintain an environment conducive to learning and development including producing display resources.
· Identify individual adult learning requirements and adapt delivery style as required, supporting a variety of needs in one group.
· Provide constructive, timely feedback to staff supporting them to identify further development in learning and practice.
· Maintain the booking system for training sessions, including promotion of activities.
· Maintain training databases.
· Support the recording of training data on the AWDS and e-LfH systems.
· Monitor and audit training feedback and attendance.
· Facilitate reflective learning sessions and participate in field supervision of staff.
· Link with and work alongside the organisation’s field trainers to improve training quality and availability of training in the community.
· Link with and support staff in champion roles to access appropriate training, updates and other materials or platforms.
· Support staff undertaking external qualifications e.g. QCFs.
· Act as assessor for staff undertaking internal qualification for NCFE Adult Social Level 2 Care Certificate as an accredited site.
· Collaborate with team leaders and senior management team to ensure training is effective.
· Work in partnership with external agencies and organisations to share resources and learning.
· Comply with Health and Safety standards.
· Work flexibly to deliver training support in the community.
· Support staff at induction to be ready for work in the community.
