Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and professional Massage Therapist's to join our wellness team. The successful candidates will provide high-quality massage treatments to clients, promoting relaxation, relief from muscular pain, and overall well-being. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about health and holistic care. The position is paid on a commission basis per customer they provide a treatment to.
Responsibilities & Requirements
- Conduct personalised massage sessions tailored to client needs, including full body, deep tissue or specialised techniques.
- Assess client requirements and discuss with them about their preferences to the amount of pressure and speed they like.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment in accordance with hygiene standards. Each therapist is assigned their own treatment room and this will be theirs only to work in and maintain throughout each day. After each client is finish receive their treatment, the therapists must make sure the room is clean of any oil spills, any towels or lining is replaced and fresh massage bed paper has been laid out ready for when the next customer arrives.
- The therapist's must ensure they maintain a well presented appearance at all times. Fingernails must be kept at a reasonable length and hands are kept moisturised as necessary.
- Ensure client confidentiality and adhere to all health and safety regulations at all times.
- Skills
- They must have previous work experience, but training can be provided be proved if unfamiliar with some technics.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a professional attitude at all times.
- Flexibility to accommodate clients’ schedules, including evenings or weekends.
- A recognised qualification in massage therapy recognised by relevant regulatory bodies is preferred but not essential for applicants with some experience and willing to undertake training. Pay: £1,000.00-£2,000.00 per week
