Gecko Care are seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join our team in providing compassionate care for individuals in a home care setting. The role involves supporting service users with daily activities and ensuring their well-being in their home. You would need to travel door to door and provide the requires services.
## Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with service users, families, and colleagues
- Assist in implementing care plans tailored to individual needs
- Provide support with personal care tasks
- Maintain accurate records using IT systems
- Offer emotional support and companionship to residents
## Requirements
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written
- Experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
- Compassionate nature and empathy towards others
- Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication
