TheOpportunity
We're looking for a friendly and customer-focused CustomerAssistant to join our Branch Network team.
This is an exciting opportunity to build a career withinfinancial services while making a genuine difference to our members. As one ofthe first points of contact for customers, you'll play a key role in creatingpositive experiences, identifying customer needs and helping members access theproducts and services that are right for them.
You'll work as part of a supportive team, contribute to thesuccess of the branch and have opportunities to develop your skills, knowledgeand career within an award-winning organisation.
WhatYou'll Be Doing
Delivering outstanding service to customers acrossface-to-face, telephone and digital channels.
Building strong relationships with new and existingmembers.
Identifying customer needs and recommending appropriateproducts and services or referring customers to specialist colleagues.
Processing customer transactions accurately andefficiently.
Supporting branch performance and helping achieve branchobjectives.
Acting as an ambassador for the Society and promoting ourvalues in everything you do.
Participating in community and branch initiatives tostrengthen our presence locally.
Taking ownership of your development through training,coaching and continuous learning opportunities.
WhatWe're Looking For
Essential
Experience working in a customer-facing or service-focusedenvironment.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
A positive, professional and customer-focused approach.
Good numeracy and literacy skills.
Desirable
Experience working within financial services.
Experience supporting team improvements or sharingknowledge with colleagues.
