Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and versatile Barista/All Rounder to join our friendly and outgoing team. This role involves preparing high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and supporting various operational tasks within our café. The ideal candidate will be passionate about coffee, eager to learn, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience is desirable, full training will be provided. This position offers an engaging work environment where you can develop your skills and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. Not only will the role involve Barista responsibilities it will also involve working in the kitchen with food twice a week. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including speciality coffees, teas, and other refreshments
- Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting patrons warmly and assisting with their orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, including cleaning equipment and work surfaces
- Support stock management by replenishing supplies and notifying management of low inventory levels
- Operate cash registers accurately and handle transactions efficiently
- Assist with general duties such as restocking shelves, cleaning tables, and ensuring the café remains inviting
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and uphold high standards of hygiene and safety
Experience
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is advantageous; full training will be provided for the right candidate
- Good organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour
- Ability to work well within a team as well as independently when required
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and assist with various tasks as needed
