Supervising Social Worker
Location: Flexible/Home-Based (Travel Required)
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: £46,000 per year
About the Role
Evolve Therapeutic Fostering is looking for an experienced Supervising Social Worker to join our dedicated team. You will provide support and supervision to foster carers, promote positive outcomes for children and young people, and ensure high standards of fostering practice are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide regular supervision and support to foster carers.
- Undertake annual reviews, unannounced visits, and support visits.
- Complete fostering assessments and contribute to Form F Assessments where required.
- Participate in the recruitment, training, and development of foster carers.
- Ensure safeguarding concerns are managed effectively and in line with statutory guidance.
- Work collaboratively with local authorities and partner agencies to achieve the best outcomes for children.
- Maintain accurate records and reports in accordance with fostering regulations and organisational policies.
- Protected case load of 7 families
About You
You will have:
- A recognised Social Work qualification and current Social Work England registration.
- At least 3 years' post-qualifying experience in children's social work, with fostering experience.
- Strong knowledge of fostering legislation, safeguarding, and child development.
- Excellent assessment, communication, and report-writing skills.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
