Parkdale Primary is seeking to appoint an experienced caretaker who is committed to developing, improving and maintaining the school learning environments so that all our children are supported, motivated and excited by achieving excellence.
We are a large, happy, multi-cultural school on the outskirts of the City of Nottingham, just (by a few hundred metres) into the County of Nottinghamshire. We are part of the Transform Trust, a multi-academy trust based in the East Midlands.
We pride ourselves on our caring, nurturing approach and going the ‘extra-mile’ to help children and their families. We are a community school, with several of the staff living in the neighbourhood and some even having attended here as pupils!
You will:
- Be motivated and enthusiastic about maintaining learning environments which will make a difference to every child’s education
- Care passionately about children and their development whilst still driving forward projects to further enhance our curriculum learning environments
- Value a team working approach and be keen to contribute and share your skills with colleagues
- Be a team player who will contribute fully to the life of the school
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to build on and maintain strong relationships with staff, parents and carers, children, governors and the local and wider community
- Be organised, dedicated and hardworking
- Be flexible and excited about innovation
In return we offer:
- A welcoming community and a highly motivated, professional staff team that are driven towards continuously raising standards.
- Excellent professional development opportunities through an extensive range of network groups and other Transform Trust initiatives
- Calm and purposeful learning environments
- Excellent partnerships between pupils, staff, parents, governors and community
- A forward-thinking approach to teaching and learning throughout the school
- Career opportunities as part of a successful Multi Academy Trust
