We are looking for a very special person to lead our wraparound provision based at Portswood Primary School - Southampton. This role will be managing BOTH the breakfast and after school club sessions term time.
Creative Kidz Childcare Ltd is small privately owned family company with a proven track record of over 20 years of working in partnership with schools, to deliver high-quality, all-encompassing wraparound childcare.
All of our settings are registered with Ofsted Standard for Education on the Early Years register and both the voluntary and compulsory parts of the Childcare register.

Role Purpose
Our wraparound clubs provide children and young people with opportunities to maximise their potential though developing valuable lifelong skills with the support of exciting and engaging resources and a staff team who will offer children an experience they will remember for years to come.

The role offers a rewarding opportunity to work with diverse age groups, primarily children aged 4 to 11 years.
Key Responsibilities:
· Implementation and Delivery of high quality experience for all stakeholders
· Day to day set up, providing safe, creative, appropriate active and play opportunities and preparing activities.
· To provide leadership, project oversight, day to day management and staff supervision and is responsible for structure, systems and procedures to facilitate and achieve program excellence.
· To demonstrate an excellent awareness of safeguarding children, health, and safety
. Providing high quality, engaging activity instruction and guidance to students of all ages and levels of ability to help them improve their skills.
. Motivate and encourage children to participate and enjoy being physically active.
. Preparing lesson plans that align with our ethos and which guide students through the programme by providing opportunities to enhance their abilities.
. Overseeing, Monitoring and evaluating the progress of participants and providing constructive feedback for the aim of improving progress.
. Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of participants at all times.
. To manage, lead and support the work of the team of play workers, activity leaders, apprentices, students and volunteers, ensuring collaboration and a positive team spirit.
. To provide the highest standards of customer service to all and in particular the participants within the programmes you will be delivering on.
. Motivating and encouraging the children to participate and enjoy being physically active.
. To ensure excellent communication and to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
. The manager will be expected to become involved in project management, planning, implementation, evaluation, and reporting outcomes and ensures that management functions are properly fulfilled.
. The manager ensures adherence to and compliance with government standards and statutory guidance and supports efforts to remain in compliance with all applicable licensing and government regulations.
. The manager will be expected to be involved in matters between the company and the community- schools/governing bodies, staff, parents, community agencies and the Services for young children, this list is not exhaustive.
. Human resource responsibility including- Induction, retention & training, management, staff development, supervision and appraisal.
. To assist in delivery of the company strategic objectives, monitoring, evaluation and development, as set out in the Strategic Action Plan.
. To be accountable and responsible for day to day administration systems directly relating to the company.

Shift options:
Breakfast Club - 07:20 - 08:50 - Monday to Friday
After School club - 15:00-18:00 - Monday to Friday
22.5 hours per week x 38 weeks.
Term time only
Overtime may be available at other venues (Holiday club - 08:00-13:00 or 13:00-18:00, 10:00 - 16:00 or 08:00-18:00)

Qualifications:
Essential:
A Good standard of general education.
Desirable:
. Full and relevant professional qualifications for the position: NVQ 2, 3/NNEB/B tech/Or Equivalent (Preferably approx. 2yrs post qualifying)
. Leadership or management qualification
. Senco training
. EYFS training
· First aid qualification.
. Food hygiene qualification

· Health and safety qualification.
