The Raikes is a friendly, family run 31 bed Care Home for the Elderly, set in Silsden.
We have a vacancy for a part time Care Assistant. We are looking for someone to work weekend shifts only. Full days (8am-8pm) or late shifts (1-10pm).
Ideally you will hold a level 2 health and social care qualification, or be prepared to work towards this. You will be assisting residents with all aspects of personal care, including continence care, assisting with mobility and meal times. We have a large number of residents with a dementia diagnosis, and a number of residents who are bed bound. You will work as part of a team, whilst also being able to use your own initiative and common sense.
PLEASE BE AWARE YOU MUST BE 18 OR OVER FOR THIS ROLE
Full training & induction period will be given.

The post requires a DBS check to be undertaken which you will be required to pay for, this will be reimbursed on successful completion of your probation.
