Overview
We are seeking an experienced Bar - Restaurant Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, hospitality experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage a longstanding business, ensuring high standards of food safety, service quality, and team performance.
The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining a welcoming atmosphere while efficiently managing all aspects of the bar and restaurant environment. Bar is Based in a rural setting and would be best suited to individuals in the local area.
Duties
- Supervise daily bar operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Staff Rota and entertainment bookings.
- Lead and manage staff including servers, bartenders, and kitchen personnel to deliver excellent customer experiences.
- Excellent communicator with proven ability to direct staff to provide a warm fiendly atmosphere.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all departments.
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and oversee stock control to minimise waste.
- Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe environment in accordance with health & safety regulations.
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience within a bar with experience of managing a team.
- Strong team management skills with the ability to lead by example and motivate staff.
- Knowledge of kitchen operations; experience in food production is desirable.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
- Good understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality environments.
