We are looking for a proactive, compassionate, and customer-focused individual to join our Patient Care team in Livingston as a Customer Service Assistant.
This is more than a traditional customer service role. As one of the first points of contact for our patients, you'll play an important part in supporting them throughout their healthcare journey, answering queries with empathy, providing guidance, and ensuring every interaction leaves them feeling valued, listened to, and cared for.
At Cloud Pharmacy, we're a close-knit team with a shared passion for improving patient care through innovative digital healthcare solutions. As a growing business, we're looking for someone who enjoys working collaboratively, communicates confidently, takes initiative, and is eager to learn and develop new skills. You'll have the opportunity to make a genuine impact, working alongside colleagues who are committed to delivering an outstanding patient experience.
If you're someone who thrives in a supportive team environment, enjoys solving problems, and is passionate about making a difference to patients' lives, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver friendly, professional, and timely support to patients via phone, email, and digital channels.
- Act as the first point of contact, responding confidently to patient enquiries and providing clear guidance on our healthcare services.
- Work collaboratively with pharmacists and colleagues to deliver a seamless, high-quality patient experience.
- Take ownership of patient queries, resolving issues efficiently and escalating when appropriate.
- Process account updates, cancellations, refunds, and other administrative requests accurately.
- Build positive relationships with patients through empathetic, patient-focused communication.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve the patient experience, contribute ideas, and support the ongoing development of the Patient Care team.
- Work independently while collaborating with colleagues to foster a supportive, communicative team culture.
What We're Looking For:
- A proactive, positive attitude and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding patient care.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Calm, professional, and empathetic, with a solution-focused approach to challenges.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and confidence interacting with patients and colleagues.
- A team player who communicates well, enjoys collaborating, and contributes to a supportive working environment.
- The ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and use initiative.
- A willingness to learn, develop new skills, and grow with a fast-paced business.
- Confident using computer systems and managing multiple priorities.
- Previous customer service or patient-facing experience is desirable but not essential. Attitude and enthusiasm are just as important.
Benefits:
- Training and development opportunities to support your growth.
- A friendly and supportive team environment.
- Opportunities for career progression as the company continues to grow.
- Onsite parking available.
- Regular team socials and gatherings.
