Role Overview
Support engineering projects through technical design, planning, and infrastructure development services.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed civil and infrastructure designs using AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and Schematics software.
- Manage project workflows from conception through to completion, ensuring adherence to deadlines and specifications.
- Prepare accurate system design documentation, including schematics, technical drawings, and land survey plans.
- Utilise ArcGIS for spatial analysis and mapping to support project planning and implementation.
- Coordinate with land surveyors to integrate survey data into design models effectively.
- Oversee project management tasks such as scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking.
- Collaborate with construction teams to ensure designs are feasible and compliant with safety standards.
- Conduct site visits for land surveying, system inspections, and project assessments as required.
- Maintain organised records of all design files, reports, and project documentation.
Experience
- Proven experience in civil or infrastructure engineering design with a strong portfolio of CAD-based projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, ArcGIS, and Mathcad is essential.
- Demonstrated ability in project management within engineering environments.
- Practical knowledge of land surveying techniques and integration into design workflows.
- Experience with system design for infrastructure projects and the creation of detailed schematics.
- Construction experience is highly desirable to understand on-site challenges and practical constraints.
- Familiarity with CAD standards and best practices for technical documentation is required.
