Ourvita Laleham Health & Beauty is looking for a TECHNICAL INFORMATION OFFICER to join our Development Team.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours variable on a fixed term contract for 12 month

Overview of the role
Providing regulatory support to all Laleham formulated products, both internally and externally and responsible for maintaining the technical information library for raw materials. This is a varied, hands-on, office based role in a fast paced environment, which requires flexibility, enthusiasm, accuracy and attention to detail at all times.
The post holder will be required to liaise with personnel at a variety of different levels across the Laleham manufacturing & development sites, departments, customers, raw material suppliers, external test houses and regulatory bodies.
Collate, update and maintain raw material database, including supplier material specification, MSDS and technical documents
Maintain Product Development Laboratory ‘COPTIS’ database
Creation, control and maintenance of Product Information File (PIF) for all formulated products using COPTIS software
Explore capabilities of COPTIS software to develop more efficient processes
Collate data and produce reports for customer and retailer specific requests
Collating documentation for and requesting CPSR’s and finished product SDS’s
Directly responsible for all customer formulation related documentation requirements
Support the creation and control of operating procedures for the Product development team
Maintain the document archive, Support on Cosmetic, Nutritional and general factory documentation requirements. Build collaborative relationships with external raw material suppliers and internal departments/personnel. Checking artworks for accuracy and compliance
Uploading raw material SDS’s onto Sevron. Carry out any other reasonable duties at the request of the Regulatory and Compliance Officer
Minimum of A-level (or equivalent) in a Science-based subject, ideally Chemistry is essential for this role. A degree in a Science-based subject, preferably Chemistry, and some knowledge of regulations relating to the cosmetics industry is desired.
