About Us:
The City Café is a vibrant and welcoming venue, known for great food, excellent service, friendly staff and a lively atmosphere. We’re looking for a motivated and reliable PART TIME Floor and Bar Staff to join our team for the month of August and help us deliver the best experience to our guests.
THIS IS A TEMPORARY POSITION FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST( there might be a possibility to stay after August for the right candidates)
Working hours will vary between 9am and 3.30am( shifts are usually 8 hours long)
Role Overview:
As a Bar & Floor Staff member, you'll play an important role in delivering outstanding customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. You'll work across both the bar and floor, serving food and drinks, assisting customers, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the team during busy service periods. This is a hands-on role that requires a positive attitude, reliability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment while ensuring every customer has an enjoyable experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve drinks efficiently while maintaining high service standards.
- Welcome and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take food and drink orders and deliver them promptly.
- Clear and reset tables, keeping the venue clean and presentable.
- Handle payments using the till/POS system.
- Restock bar supplies and assist with opening and closing duties.
- Follow all health, safety, and licensing regulations.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure a great customer experience.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous bar or hospitality experience
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
- Must have the legal right to work in the UK.

Pay: £12.71-£16.71 per hour
