Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Scaffolding Labourer to join our team. This role involves assisting with the assembly, dismantling, and maintenance of scaffolding structures on various sites. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and an interest in progressing in the Scaffolding trade. Prior experience in scaffolding is not essential but advantageous, as training will be provided. This position offers valuable hands-on experience within the scaffolding industry and the opportunity to develop a broad skill set.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the erection and dismantling of scaffolding structures in accordance with safety standards and project specifications
- Handle and position scaffolding components
- Ensure work areas are kept tidy and free from hazards to promote safety for all personnel
- Load and unload materials and equipment necessary for scaffolding assembly
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
Qualifications
- Valid CSCS and CISRS COTS Card preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Good physical fitness with the ability to lift materials safely
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different site requirements
- Valid UK driving licence is essential with your own transport to get to and from our yard in Pickering
