Job Overview:
· Close liaison with compliance, operations and sales.
· Providing admin support to transport manager
· Keeping databases upto date
· Interacting with customers on the phone and email
· Taking phone calls and messages for other departments
· Using spreadsheets
· Making travel arrangements for drivers
· Assist with fleet management schedule
· To keep track of fleet maintenance, liaise with suppliers to maintain vehicle safety and legality
· Monitor vehicle defects, book in scheduled maintenance checks liaise with compliance.
· To ensure drivers are working within the working time directive
· To report speeding, infringements, and driver behaviors to operations.
· Monitor vehicle charges, such as crossings and clean air zones
· Assist with drainage plans
· Monitor and download Tach information
· To make customer satisfaction calls and keep a log
· Monitor fleet schedule with Transport manager and look at geographical locations to ensure fuel efficiency

This role is Monday to Friday 9am-5pm plus occasional truck maintenance inspections on a Saturday, which will be agreed in advance
