Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Hod Carrier/Labourer to join our construction team. In this vital role, you will assist skilled tradespeople by transporting, positioning, and supporting materials and tools on-site. Your energetic approach and attention to safety will contribute to the smooth progress of construction projects.
Duties
- Safely carry and transport building materials, tools, and equipment across the construction site
- Support bricklayers by providing necessary materials promptly
- Operate hand tools such as shovels to aid in construction tasks
- Help with site cleanup, debris removal, and maintaining a safe work environment
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulations
Requirements
- Experience or familiarity with bricklaying,
- Ability to lift heavy objects repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong teamwork skills and positive attitude on the job site
- Good communication skills to understand instructions clearly
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Valid safety training
