Description
We are seeking an Apprentice Cloud Accountant to join our growing team! You will gain valuable hands-on experience while also pursuing a coveted qualification in accountancy.
As well as undergoing your AAT qualification (after successfully passing probation) you will be introduced to many areas of accountancy including cloud accounting, financial reporting, management accounts, VAT returns etc to develop your skills and progress your career.
**Please note that this is an apprentice position and therefore the salary will reflect that**
Key Responsibilities
• • Record and reconcile daily transactions in Xero & Dext
Assist with bank reconciliations
Support month end and year end reporting
Prepare lead schedules
Generate financial reports and summaries as required
Liaise with clients
Support ad hoc administrative and financial tasks to streamline client operations
Assist the accounts and personal tax teams, as required
Key Requirements
Keen to pursue an accountancy qualification and an eagerness to learn.
Experience with Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Excellent time management
Good communication skills in order to interact with clients and other team members.
Additional Requirements
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Team oriented, collaborative, and client-focused with a commitment to continuous personal development.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
