Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene across various premises. This role offers an opportunity to work in diverse environments, including commercial, hospitality, and residential settings. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to delivering excellent service. Previous experience in janitorial or hotel cleaning is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. All roles are paid positions, ensuring fair remuneration for your efforts.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, surfaces, windows, and fixtures
- Ensure restrooms and kitchens are hygienic and well-stocked with necessary supplies
- Utilise appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
- Maintain organised storage of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
- Assist with specialised cleaning tasks such as carpet or upholstery cleaning when required
- Adhere to client-specific protocols to meet individual standards of cleanliness
Experience
- Previous experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Experience in hotel or hospitality environments is advantageous
- Skills in cooking or customer service are considered beneficial but are not essential for this role
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining high standards of cleanliness
