We are seeking a creative and dynamic Social Media Content Creator to join our team. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop engaging content that enhances our brand presence across various social media platforms. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in public relations and social media management, with a keen eye for current trends and audience engagement. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about digital marketing and storytelling, eager to make a tangible impact through compelling visual and written content.
hours and days of work will vary but candidates MUST be available to capture content Thursday evenings for our Quiz nights and late night club nights in both The Bank and our other business Cobbles possibly until 1am on Saturday evenings. Content would need to be captured at weekends for food also
Responsibilities
- Develop, plan, and produce engaging multimedia content tailored for different social media channels, including images, videos, and written posts.
- Manage daily social media activities, ensuring consistent brand messaging and tone of voice.
- Monitor social media trends and incorporate innovative ideas to increase audience interaction and follower growth.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align content strategies with overall brand objectives.
- Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and reviews in a professional manner.
- Analyse social media metrics to assess content performance and optimise future campaigns accordingly.
- Maintain an organised content calendar to ensure timely publication of posts and campaigns.
- Assist in managing public relations initiatives by creating positive brand narratives and fostering community relationships.
Requirements
- Proven experience in social media management or content creation, with a strong portfolio demonstrating previous work.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a flair for storytelling.
- Knowledge of current social media trends, tools, and best practices across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Strong understanding of public relations principles and how they apply within digital environments.
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas that resonate with target audiences.
- Organised with excellent time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
