Bench Joiner (Minimum 5 Years' Experience)
Job Summary
P.E.C. is seeking an experienced, skilled, and detail-oriented Bench Joiner with a minimum of 5 years' bench joinery experience to join our growing team.
UK Travel required for projects
The successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing and assembling high-quality bespoke joinery, cabinetry, furniture, and timber components within our workshop. You will take pride in producing work to the highest standard, working from technical drawings with exceptional attention to detail and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture bespoke joinery, cabinetry, furniture and timber products to a high standard.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and cutting lists accurately.
- Measure, cut, machine and assemble timber components with precision.
- Operate woodworking machinery and power tools safely and efficiently, including panel saws, spindle moulders, edge banders, routers, sanders and drills.
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards and project specifications.
- Carry out finishing, fitting and quality checks prior to dispatch.
- Assist with the installation of manufactured joinery where required.
- Work collaboratively with project managers, designers and installation teams to meet programme deadlines.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop environment.
- Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures and company policies.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' proven experience as a Bench Joiner.
- Level 3 Qualified.
- Strong knowledge of traditional and modern joinery techniques.
- Own Hand tools
- Ability to manufacture bespoke joinery from technical drawings without supervision.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality workmanship.
- Competent in the safe operation of woodworking machinery and hand tools.
- Strong understanding of timber materials and construction methods.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physically fit and capable of handling materials safely.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.Desirable
- Experience within commercial fit-out or shopfitting.
- Experience with laminate, veneer, Corian or solid surface products.
- Site installation experience.
