We’re looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Cook to join our team at our busy bingo club in Corby.
This is a permanent role offering 35 hours every week, with your rota provided 2 weeks in advance. You'll be joining a company that's proud to be recognised as an Investors in People Gold employer.

What you'll be doing
You'll be an important part of the club team, preparing and serving great food for our customers.
Your role will include:
- Preparing and cooking fresh, home-style meals to a high standard
- Delivering consistent quality and portion sizes
- Preparing the kitchen for service and working efficiently during busy periods
- Following our recipes and food preparation standards
- Monitoring stock levels and supporting ordering
- Maintaining high standards of kitchen cleanliness
- Following food safety, hygiene and HACCP procedures
- Working as part of the wider club team to give our customers a great experience
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who is reliable, organised and takes pride in the food they serve.
Ideally, you'll have:
- Previous experience as a Cook, Chef or in a similar kitchen role
- Confidence working in a busy kitchen
- A good understanding of food hygiene and food safety
- Level 2 or Level 3 Food Safety Certificate – preferred
- NVQ, City & Guilds or a similar catering qualification – desirable, although relevant hands-on experience is just as important
- Good organisation and time-management skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to be part of the team
Your hours
You'll be contracted to 35 hours per week, working 5 days across the week, including evenings and weekends.
Our kitchen shifts can include a break between lunch and evening service. For example, a typical day could be:
10am–3pm, followed by a one-hour break, then 4pm–9pm.
We provide rotas 2 weeks in advance, helping you plan your time outside of work.
