The Role
This is a hands-on Sous Chef position for someone who can take real ownership of kitchen operations.
You will be responsible for leading service, managing prep and maintaining high standards across both restaurant service and event catering.
This role includes event prep and delivery, meaning some long and demanding days. You will be expected to support the full food operation from prep through to execution.

Key Responsibilities
- Running the kitchen during service
- Organising daily prep and kitchen workflow
- Leading and supporting the kitchen team
- Maintaining consistently high food quality and presentation
- Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and audit-ready at all times
- Ensuring all stock is correctly labelled, rotated and managed
- Supporting ordering and stock control
- Assisting with menu development and seasonal changes
- Preparing food for events and supporting event execution
- Training and developing junior team members
What We’re Looking For
- Previous Sous Chef experience or a strong Senior Chef de Partie ready to step up
- Confident running a busy kitchen service
- Hard working and reliable with a strong work ethic
- High standards of cleanliness, organisation and food safety
- Able to handle long days and busy event schedules
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ambition to grow and progress within the business
