An exciting opportunity to establish a new team to delivery a portfolio of clinical trials in surgical oncology. We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated nurse to help us establish a new research team to delivery high quality research and patient care. The post holder will support current activity and help develop a sustainable portfolio of studies.
The post holder will have the opportunity to develop the service, setting standards and creating a vibrant and enthusiastic team. The post will have an office based at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Hospital and will work across there, the John Radcliffe and Churchill sites as required
Hours – the post holder will be expected to work core hours between 07:30 and 17:00 Monday to Friday. However, these may be negotiated if required by a trial protocol.

Scope of role
- Employed as a Senior Clinical Research Delivery Nurse with;
- Responsibility for operational management of the clinical research delivery team
- Responsibility for strategic leadership of clinical research delivery team
- Responsibility for the management of the trial portfolio and own allocated portfolio of studies and study participants including, as required:
Ø Leading and co-ordinating a portfolio of studies
Ø Planning
Ø Scheduling
Ø Conduct including intervention
Ø Recruitment & retention of participants
Ø Data management
- Fulfil the expectations and capabilities as delegated by the Sponsor, Chief Investigator or Principal Investigator as set out in ICH-GCP & UK Research Governance Framework
- Work collaboratively with OUH and external research & service delivery colleagues to ensure high quality participant care and research delivery.
- Work collaboratively with service delivery colleagues to promote clinical research delivery and integrated care delivery as appropriate.
- Act as PI/CI on non-interventional studies, as appropriate.
