Stoneleigh Dental Practice and Exmoor Dental Centre are established dental providers to our loyal patients in Williton & Minehead. We are a 6-surgery practice in a newly refurbished period property close to the town centre and the beach.
We have been proudly providing high-quality dentistry to the local community since 1998, and we continue to grow while maintaining exceptional clinical standards and patient care.
Working Conditions
- Weekdays: 2 - 4 days a week
- 8:30 am – 5 pm
- Full chairside support
- Dedicated hygienist surgery
- The latest ultrasonic Cavitron scaler units and soft-grip hand instruments
- Air conditioning
- Digital radiographs and Exact from Software of Excellence
Remuneration:
From £45-50 per hour based on level of experience
The Role
As a key member of our clinical team, you will deliver outstanding preventative and periodontal care while building trust and long-term relationships with the patients.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Performing comprehensive oral health assessments and treatment plans.
- Providing oral debridement treatments to combat periodontal disease
- Educating patients on oral hygiene, prevention, and long-term oral health
- Working closely with dentists and the wider team to deliver holistic patient care
- Opportunities to administer teeth whitening treatments
- Opportunities to utilise air polishing for advanced hygiene procedures
- Maintaining accurate patient records and recall intervals
- Adhering to the highest standards of infection control and clinical governance
- Keeping up to date with the latest dental hygiene techniques and advancements.
About You
We are looking for a confident, patient-focused hygienist who takes pride in delivering exceptional periodontal care and is driven by improving the oral health of the patient.
Essential Requirements
- Valid GDC registration
- Qualification in Dental Hygiene from a recognised institution
- Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist
- Strong knowledge of preventative dentistry and periodontal care
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain treatments clearly
- A caring, empathetic approach that builds patient trust and loyalty
- Close attention to detail and commitment to clinical excellence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
