Due to continued growth and securing long term contracts Burflex now have a job opportunity for a HGV Class 2 Driver/Labourer working from the yard situated in the Sheffield S4 area.
Burflex now employ 200+ staff and due to continued growth and expansion are looking for staff for the following role
This is a full-time position with an immediate start for the right candidate. You will be required to multi drop/collect scaffolding materials throughout Yorkshire and return to the Sheffield depot daily.
The Role:
· Delivery/Collection of scaffolding materials and general labouring on sites
Detailed tasks
· Detailed checks to ensure load is secure prior to departure.
· Deliver/Collect materials as per route planner/Labour on sites as required.
· Conduct daily HGV inspections to ensure vehicle is fit for purpose.
· Ensure quality control procedures are strictly adhered to.
· Ensuring compliance with the company Health & Safety Policy.
· Ensure the correct PPE is worn at all times where applicable.
· Ensure the ‘delivery items’ are correct as per each multi drop site load list.
· Ensure all digital tacho information is uploaded to your driver card.
The successful candidate will:
- Possess a positive working attitude
- Demonstrate ability to work unsupervised
- Hold a Class 2 Driving Licence
- Hold a current CPC Certificate
- Be physically fit
Desirable
- Forklift Licence
- Hold a valid CSCS Card (preferred)
- Hiab Trained
