Cashmere Caveman Co, Wild Kitchens (CCCo) was founded by Guy Ritchie and is home to the WildKitchen, WildTent, and WildTable. Combining Guy’s love of fire, BBQ’s and the great outdoors, these high-end, outdoor lifestyle products bring a brand-new way to cook, gather and eat outdoors. Finally, it’s possible to enjoy al fresco dining all year round, within the world’s first, fully-retractable canvas and hardwood WildTent, whilst cooking on the unique WildTable. The products have featured in Guy Ritchie’s films and TV series including the recent and very successful The Gentlemen TV series on Netflix.
The company, which launched at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2021, has been through an extensive process of research and development, and is now looking to increase sales and production both in the UK, and to a wider international market. WildKitchens have already been sold to clients in USA, Mexico, Costa Rica, Saudi Arabia, Portugal and Italy.
The Role
We are looking for a proactive, practical and hardworking individual to join our Operations Team in a varied role combining warehouse operations, product preparation, manufacturing, installation, maintenance and customer deliveries.
The Warehouse & Tent Operative will help ensure the efficient day-to-day running of the warehouse, including receiving and managing stock, preparing and dispatching customer orders and maintaining a safe and organised working environment.
The role will also support the manufacture, preparation and assembly of WildKitchens and WildTables and form part of the team responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing WildKitchens at customer locations throughout the UK and internationally.
This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys practical work, variety and problem-solving and is equally comfortable working in the warehouse, using tools in the workshop or travelling to customer sites as part of an installation team.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
Receive incoming stock and accurately book items onto the company's stock management system.
Book stock out of the system as products and components are used or dispatched.
Ensure stock is correctly located, labelled and organised both physically and within the stock management system.
Maintain effective stock rotation and minimise unnecessary wastage.
Undertake regular stock checks and assist with periodic stock takes.
Book collections and deliveries with couriers and freight companies.
Prepare appropriate dispatch paperwork for customer orders.
Liaise with suppliers where required to ensure components and materials arrive in time for production and installations.
Occasionally collect materials and stock from suppliers using company vehicles.
Order Fulfilment
Pick and pack components and products for WildKitchen, WildTable and accessory orders.
Assemble and prepare WildTables for customer orders (linishing and polishing tabletops as required)
Pack, box and palletise products appropriately for safe UK and international transportation.
Assist with white-glove delivery of products to UK customers using company vehicles.
Ensure products are checked and prepared to the required quality standard before leaving the warehouse.
WildKitchen Preparation & Assembly
Support the manufacture and preparation of WildKitchens at the company's warehouse.
Cut timber components to the required dimensions and assist with the creation of joints and other timber preparation.
Sand, stain and finish timber components to the required standard.
Fit appropriate fixings and connect timber components using the required brackets and hardware.
Fit manufactured canvas panels and other components during the pre-assembly process.
Check components and assemblies for quality, accuracy and completeness.
Disassemble completed WildKitchens ready for packing, transportation and installation.
Use hand tools and power tools safely and appropriately.
Installations, Maintenance & Repairs
Pack WildKitchen components using appropriate materials and methods to ensure safe transportation.
Load products, tools and installation equipment into company vehicles.
Travel to customer sites throughout the UK and, where required, internationally.
Install and erect WildKitchens at customer premises as part of an installation team.
Carry out maintenance, servicing and repairs to existing WildKitchen installations.
Diagnose practical installation and maintenance issues and assist in implementing appropriate solutions.
Represent the company professionally when working at customer premises.
Skills & Attributes
Strong practical DIY skills
Experience using power tools or willingness to learn
Background in carpentry, property maintenance, installations or general maintenance would be advantageous
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
Comfortable working on-site and travelling to different locations
Flexible approach to overnight stays and international travel (up to 1 week away per month)
Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting and manual work
Full clean driving licence
Forklift Truck experience (or willingness to learn)
Valid passport for international travel
Basic IT skills
Strong communication skills and a professional, presentable manner with customers
