We have a great opportunity for a DEDICATED& PASSIONATE about food chef assistant who is looking for a new job within a unique establishment and wants to develop skills further to become a fully trained chef in close future.
Seymour Kitchen is a cafe/grocery with focus on fresh and seasonal produce. Our recipes are mostly Persian influenced. They are bright, fresh, seasonal, full of flavours and complex. Vegetables are in the hear of our cooking. Our flavours are multi-layered combinations of herbs, spices, and umami-filled game-changers such as black garlic and pomegranate molasses.
What you’ll do
- Wash, clean, and sanitise all kitchen equipment, crockery, cutlery, and surfaces.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen at all times.
- Support the kitchen team with food preparation tasks as directed.
- Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating deliveries correctly.
- Empty and manage waste correctly and in line with sustainability practices.
- Ensure equipment is clean and ready for service at all times.
- Report any maintenance issues to the relevant supervisor.
