Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable individual to join our team as a Server and Bartender. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to safety standards and recipes.
- Greet guests warmly and take their orders efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar and restaurant area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Manage cash transactions accurately using the EPOS system and handle payments responsibly.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts.
- Engage with guests to promote specials for food and drinks or upcoming events, enhancing their overall experience.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
- Uphold responsible serving practices by monitoring guest consumption and adhering to legal requirements.
Requirements
- Prior experience in hospitality, food service, or restaurant environments is essential. A friendly personality and eagerness to learn are key.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Strong serving skills with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Good organisational skills with effective time management to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism.
