Panel Beater
Salary: £19.00 – £22.00 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Panel Beater to join a busy and professional accident repair centre in the West Midlands.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Panel Beater looking for a stable, long-term position within a well-established bodyshop environment.
The Role
As a Panel Beater, you will be responsible for repairing vehicles to a high standard following accident or collision damage. You will work as part of an experienced bodyshop team, ensuring vehicles are repaired safely, efficiently and to manufacturer standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Repairing damaged vehicle body panels following accidents and collisions
- Assessing vehicle damage and determining the appropriate repair methods
- Carrying out panel beating, straightening and reshaping
- Removing and replacing damaged panels and components
- Welding and fabrication where required
- Working with a range of vehicle makes and models
- Ensuring all repairs meet quality and safety standards
- Working efficiently to meet repair timescales and productivity targets
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
- Working closely with MET Technicians, Paint Technicians and other bodyshop staff
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience as a Panel Beater within an accident repair/bodyshop environment
- Strong knowledge of vehicle body repair techniques
- Experience repairing accident-damaged vehicles
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality repairs
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures
- A professional and reliable approach to work
ATA accreditation or relevant body repair qualifications would be advantageous, but experience and ability will also be considered.
