We are looking for a motivated and organised Customer Service Administrator to join our team on a maternity cover contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys delivering outstanding customer service while supporting a busy operational team.
The Role
As a Customer Service Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing a professional and efficient service while supporting a range of administrative functions. You will work closely with internal departments to ensure customer enquiries are handled promptly, orders are processed accurately, and administrative tasks are completed to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer service by responding to customer enquiries via telephone and email.
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Provide a warm, professional welcome to visitors and support the reception function when required.
- Manage customer queries and resolve issues in a timely and courteous manner.
- Produce reports and maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Carry out a variety of administrative duties, including maintaining employee files and processing paperwork.
- Prioritise a busy workload while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Liaise effectively with colleagues across departments to support operational requirements.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of administrative processes and customer service standards.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a customer service and administrative role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and experience using computerised systems.
- The ability to multitask and remain organised in a high-volume environment.
- A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Additional Information
- Contract: Maternity Cover
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Bank Holidays: Required to work Bank Holidays on a rota basis.
- Pre-employment checks: This role is subject to a satisfactory DBS check.
