Saturday Drum Tutor (9am–1pm)
Additional weekday or extended Saturday hours may also be available
Drummers Link Music School is looking for an enthusiastic and confident drummer to join our teaching team on Saturday mornings.
This is a group-based teaching role focused on helping students develop musical confidence, timing, coordination, and performance skills in an energetic and supportive environment.
About the Role
- Saturdays: 9:00am – 1:00pm
- Lead small group drum sessions (maximum 5 students per class)
- Deliver lessons using our structured in-house curriculum
- Existing student demand and class infrastructure already in place
Why This Role Stands Out
This is very different from a traditional private teaching setup.
Our students learn by actively playing together from the start. Lessons are designed to feel engaging, collaborative, and performance-focused.
Students regularly:
- play as part of a team
- build confidence through group learning
- develop strong timing and listening skills
- perform in showcases and live events
You’ll be facilitating sessions that feel closer to a live rehearsal environment than a standard one-to-one lesson.
Who This Could Suit
- Working or gigging drummers seeking reliable weekly work
- Music graduates or university students
- Educators who enjoy group teaching environments
- Confident musicians who work well with children and young people
What We’re Looking For
- Strong practical drumming ability
- Clear communication skills
- Positive energy and strong classroom presence
- Professional and dependable attitude
- Comfortable leading groups confidently
Previous teaching experience is essential. Full onboarding and ongoing training will be provided.
