About Spanesi Automotive
Spanesi Automotive supplies equipment and solutions to the vehicle repair industry. We are looking for a practical, reliable Workshop and Installation Assistant to join our team at our workshop in Kent.
This is a hands-on role supporting the preparation, assembly, maintenance and installation of bodyshop and garage equipment. the job role will be a mixture of workshop preparation and on site installation.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with the assembly and preparation of bodyshop and garage equipment
- Prepare equipment and parts for customer orders and installations
- Support engineers with maintenance and repair work
- Check incoming deliveries and help organise stock
- Load and unload equipment safely
- Keep the workshop clean, tidy and well organised
- Maintain tools and equipment to a high standard
- Assist installation engineers at customer sites when required
- Follow all company health and safety procedures
- Carry out other general workshop duties as needed
What we’re looking for
- A practical, hands-on approach to work
- An interest in automotive, mechanical or engineering equipment
- Confidence using basic hand and power tools
- Good attention to detail
- A reliable and punctual attitude
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Ability to carry out physical work and safely handle equipment
- Full UK driving licence preferred
Previous experience in a workshop, automotive, engineering, bodyshop or garage-equipment environment would be an advantage, but full training can be provided to the right candidate.

Pay: £24,500.00-£30,000.00 per year
