The Countryman Inn is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Front of House (FOH) Team Members to join our friendly pub team — with key holder responsibilities.
We’re a busy, well-established country pub known for our warm welcome, great food, and relaxed atmosphere. We're looking for motivated individuals who can deliver excellent customer service and take pride in helping the place run smoothly, even when management isn't on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Opening and closing the premises as a responsible key holder
- Greeting and serving customers with a friendly, professional attitude
- Taking orders, serving food and drinks, and handling payments
- Ensuring cleanliness and organisation across the front of house
- Supporting the management team with daily operations
What we’re looking for:
- Previous hospitality or customer service experience (preferred)
- A trustworthy and responsible attitude
- Strong communication and people skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
