Job Summary

Duties
- Thoroughly wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning methods
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen surfaces, sinks, floors, and storage areas to uphold hygiene standards
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, or portioning ingredients under supervision
- Support chefs and kitchen staff in organizing supplies and ensuring all items are stored correctly
- Help with waste disposal and recycling procedures to keep the kitchen tidy and environmentally friendly
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents or contamination
- Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively and supporting colleagues during busy periods
Requirements
- Prior experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is highly desirable
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking processes
- Familiarity with kitchen safety standards and hygiene practices
