Are you an experienced Land-Based Engineering professional looking for a role where you can put your industry expertise to real use while helping the next generation of engineers build successful careers?
As a Coach and Assessor in Land-Based Engineering, you’ll bring your practical industry experience into the classroom and workplace, supporting apprentices across Level 2 and Level 3 Land-Based Engineering. You’ll be someone who understands the demands of industry and can turn that knowledge into engaging, practical and inspiring learning that gives apprentices the skills, knowledge and behaviours they need to succeed.
You may currently be working in the land-based engineering, agricultural machinery, construction or wider engineering industry, perhaps as an engineer, technician, supervisor or experienced tradesperson, and be ready to take the next step in your career. Or you may already be working in education, training or assessment and be looking for an opportunity to make a greater impact through employer engagement and apprenticeship delivery.
Based within our Services to Business team at Bishop Burton College, you’ll work closely with employers to deliver high-quality apprenticeships, workforce development and training that responds directly to industry needs. You’ll build strong relationships with employers, support apprentices throughout their journey and play an important role in growing our apprenticeship provision and developing new opportunities across the construction and engineering sectors.
This is an opportunity to join a college with a strong reputation for land-based education, where industry expertise, practical learning and outstanding student experiences come together. At Bishop Burton, your experience will have a direct impact – not only on the apprentices you support, but on the employers and businesses they go on to work for.
You’ll be part of a collaborative and employer-focused team that is committed to developing skilled, confident employees and responding to the skills needs of the region.
If you’re passionate about engineering, enjoy working with people and want to use your industry knowledge to inspire and develop the next generation, Bishop Burton could be the place for your next career move.
