The Digital Workplace team empowers colleagues across Sage to work confidently, efficiently and securely with modern technology, data and AI‑powered tools. We partner closely with Technology, business teams, regional learning partners, and subject matter experts to design learning experiences that build capability at scale. Our work supports colleagues in turning data into meaningful insights, adopting governed reporting practices, and using digital tools in ways that improve productivity, decision‑making and customer outcomes. Could you be our new Senior Technical Training Manager? Are you?
Experienced in technical training with a proven record designing and delivering technical learning programmes for global audiences?
Skilled in Microsoft Fabric and Power BI and capable of helping colleagues understand how to organise, interpret, govern and visualise data confidently?
Advanced in Excel with strong capability in formulas, PivotTables, macros, data analysis and practical reporting techniques?
Confident using AI for analytics including natural‑language exploration, Copilot capabilities and reporting methods advanced by artificial intelligence?
Experienced with Power Query and able to transform, clean and combine data from multiple sources?
A clear and adaptable communicator who can translate technical concepts simply for both technical and non‑technical audiences?
A strong facilitator with confidence delivering training in person and virtually to learners at different capability levels?
A trusted stakeholder partner who builds relationships across Technology and business teams, influences decisions with evidence, and champions secure, accessible and governed data practices?
Your new role:
The Senior Technical Training Manager will design, lead and deliver global technical training that strengthens data literacy, reporting capability and confident use of business intelligence tools and AI‑powered analytics across Sage. You will create engaging learning experiences, champion best practice, and help colleagues turn data into clear insights and emerging AI reporting capabilities. Working across regions, you will embed training in the flow of work, support technology change initiatives, and help build a culture of continuous learning.
Lead and deliver technical training and enablement approach for Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Data Literacy, Advanced Excel, Power Query and AI‑powered reporting.
Create and deliver live, virtual and on‑demand learning solutions including guides, videos, tips and self‑service materials.
Strengthen colleagues’ ability to prepare, analyse and visualise data, apply reporting principles, use AI‑assisted analysis and design effective prompts.
Manage the Data & Reporting Community of Practice, promote best practice and act as a point of contact for issue resolution.
Develop, own and deliver regular data literacy programmes aligned to business needs.
Partner with Technology, Digital Workplace and business teams to identify skills gaps, prioritise training needs and support adoption of approved tools.
Create practical, inclusive and globally scalable learning pathways for different audiences and capability levels.
Embed training into change initiatives, reporting improvements and productivity projects from early planning through to post‑launch adoption.
Use feedback, adoption data and learning metrics to evaluate effectiveness, demonstrate impact and continuously improve learning content.
